We are proud to announce that Dr. Ingy Badawy, Founding Partner and Head of Corporate and M&A, has received the Women Dealmakers Hall of Fame Award at the IFLR Middle East Awards 2026.
The Hall of Fame recognises an individual who has made a significant impact on the legal landscape in the region through an innovative approach and by actively promoting women in law.
For more than twenty-five years, Ingy has been at the heart of some of the most significant transactions in Egypt and the region, from landmark bank acquisitions to major cross-border deals, and is recognised by IFLR1000 as one of its Women Leaders. As one of the firm’s founding partners, she has championed equal opportunity as a core value of Zulficar & Partners and has mentored a generation of women in law.
In her acceptance speech, Ingy shared the conviction that has guided her career: “impossible” is often just the beginning of the story. And she reminded us of the value we share as a firm: “success is what we create together, never individual glory.”
